Issue
Scenic World has been growing drastically over the years. With the growth, they have been also attracting vibrant team members who are looking to be a part of this fun filled company. With a new generation of Gen Y’s joining the team, we needed to provide a uniform that will fit the culture as well as the climate of this vibrant team
Solution
Our consultants went out and did a diagnosis of the company. After meeting with the Scenic World management team, we found out exactly what they were after. We needed to design a uniform that
a) fit in with Scenic World’s outdoorsy /adventure image
b) the team would be proud of wearing
c) was fairly consistent (in terms of colours) with their previous uniforms as they wanted to slowly get rid of their old style and – most importantly –
d) was suitable for the type of climate in the Blue Mountains
After discovering these requirements, our consultants completed in depth research of the most popular retail adventure brands (such as Kathmandu, North Face etc). From the research, we found out what the more popular trends, styles and fabrics were in the retail market, which then enabled us to develop a customised look that fit all of our client’s criteria.
